Diary Dates

We are a small high street deli with a relaxed atmosphere. We’re proud to serve what we stock. We love it when people are able to slow down a little, to relish good food and good company … when folk are able to create their own little bit of ‘local’

 Mr and Mrs Deli

Summer is upon us. We have been welcoming more and more folk to the Secret Garden, with Sunday Brunch and ‘small plates‘ evenings back on the menu!

We are hosting a couple of Sunday Brunch sittings per month for June, July and August. The next Brunch is on 28 July. Book a table soon to avoid disappointment – they do tend to fill up quickly … once your table is booked, it is yours for the whole sitting (10am-1pm). you just decide when you want to arrive, safe in the knowledge that no-one will pinch your seat!

From 28 March, we have been opening a little later on Thursday and Friday mornings (about 10am), which allows us to stay open in the evenings (until about 7.30pm … though when there’s been a good crowd we’ve often let the evening drift on till 8/8.30pm). We do hope you’ll be able to join us over the Summer for a glass of wine, a cold beer and a plate of cheese and charcuterie from our small plates menu. Lots of folk have already discovered our laid back evening vibe. It is all about serving what we stock.

During the winter months, we head inside to our beautiful chapel in Bwlch-y-Ffridd where we host regular ‘supper club’ gatherings … watch out for our #tablefor10 (dates (sign up in the deli or buzz us an e-mail to reserve your place at the table):

Haven’t visited yet but will be ASAP. ‘Hallaloya!!!’ a cafe that’s open when the shops are shut and you want to sit and relax. Never understood why cafes shut early. Great to find an independent place. See you soon. X
