From between the covers of a cookery book given by her grandfather emerged jams and chutneys which quickly became recognised for their quality … and they continue to be independently endorsed for their stunning tastes
A move to the Welsh Marches added the rural landscapes of Wales, the rich harvest of a fertile land and the undoubted advantage of electricity, and so Radnor Preserves was born
As we mark the upcoming opening of The High Street Delicatessen in the historic market town of Newtown by celebrating great tastes of Wales, a tasting of 6 memorable marmalades and chutneys propelled these local, Welsh and hand-picked products into our hearts and onto our shelves
Once again, local and Welsh collaborations catch the eye, with a Welsh Ale Chutney underpinned by gluten free Masquerade beer from Monty’s Brewery and the single malt whisky of Penderyn infusing a marmalade
