It is amazing to think that we only have 3 more weeks until we throw open the doors to The High Street Delicatessen
We are hoping that some ‘word of mouth’, some Social Media sharing and some interest from local directories and newspapers might create a little bit of a stir.
It seems as if local people are excited that we will be “bringing great tastes to the High Street“
We decided to send out a ‘Press Release’ to help get our message across
The High Street Delicatessen
Opening: 13 October 2015
A hugely successful Newtown Food and Community Festival, the third in its current form, proves once again that there is a foodie heart to the town. Hot on the heels of the re-opening of the historic Market Hall, Glanhafren, a new independent delicatessen will open on Newtown High Street.
The High Street Delicatessen will open on 13 October 2015 at 13 High Street, Newtown, Powys
“ … bringing great tastes to the High Street … ”
Focusing on local, Welsh and hand-picked produce, The High Street Delicatessen will stock cheese, charcuterie, preserves, cook in sauces and ingredients for healthy everyday meals as well as sweet and savoury treats for special occasions and celebrations, with local and Welsh wines, whiskey, beers and ciders to wash it down.
The High Street Delicatessen is a new foodie adventure for JoJo and Barrie Thomson who have lived locally in Bwlch-y-Ffridd for 3 years and who have been delighting local customers with cakes and naughty nibbles from The Schoolroom Kitchen for 2 years.
